Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to already be on HubSpot to use Maintain?

Not necessarily. Maintain runs on HubSpot Marketing Hub Starter and Content Hub Starter, which are both entry-level, cost-effective plans. If you're not already set up, we can point you in the right direction before we get started. We'll confirm everything is in place during your discovery call.

What's the difference between Maintain and your Build programme?

Build is a full-service growth programme. It includes strategy, keyword research, SEO, paid advertising, social media, landing pages, premium content, and monthly performance reporting.

Maintain is deliberately simpler: one article and one email, every month, consistently. If you need marketing to actively generate leads and grow, Build is the right conversation. Maintain is for businesses that need to stay present and professional without the full investment.

Will the blog articles help my Google rankings?

Maintain articles are written by a real human and published with correct technical SEO basics such as page title, meta description, URL structure, alt text, and so on. What they won't include is strategic keyword targeting or competitive research. You may see organic benefit over time, but search ranking is not the primary goal of Maintain. That level of SEO work lives in Build and our dedicated SEO programmes.

Can I supply topics or input for the content?

Absolutely. While we'll drive the content calendar, you're welcome to flag business priorities, upcoming events, or topics you'd like covered. The more context you share, the more relevant the output.

What happens if I want more than Maintain delivers?

That's a good problem to have. Maintain clients can upgrade to Build at any point. Your content history, HubSpot setup, and existing contacts all carry over, so there's no starting from scratch. Many clients use Maintain as a starting point before committing to a full programme when the time is right.

Is there a minimum contract or lock-in period?

No lock-in. Maintain is a rolling monthly arrangement. We ask for reasonable notice if you're looking to pause or cancel (30 days), but there's no minimum term. That said, the value of consistent marketing compounds over time, so one or two months rarely tells the full story.

How much time will this take from me each month?

Very little. We'll need initial briefing session to understand your business, and occasional feedback on drafts before they go live. Beyond that, the work happens on our side. Most Maintain clients spend fewer than one hour per month on their marketing.

Why doesn't Maintain include social media posts?

Keeping Maintain at $999 required genuine restraint on scope. Social posting on HubSpot Starter requires additional manual steps that add time and cost disproportionate to the output.

 

We chose to keep the core loop of an article and an email, as the main focus. This engages your most valuable contacts; your leads. If social is important to you, we can discuss what that might look like.
